Day 01
Journey to the Volcanic Heartland
Depart from Nairobi or the Coast early morning. Enter Tsavo West and witness the striking Shetani Lava Flows—a black expanse of jagged rock from a recent eruption. Arrive for lunch at your lodge with sweeping views of the Chyulu Hills. Afternoon game drive including a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 02
Mzima Springs & Deep Wilderness
Full day exploration. Start at Mzima Springs, a natural filtration system providing 50 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily. Walk through the lush forest to the underwater tank. Spend the afternoon searching for leopards, cheetahs, and the diverse birdlife that calls the Tsavo hills home. Sunset sundowners in the bush.
Day 03
The Final Trail
Early morning game drive to catch the last sightings of the Big Five. After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a final scenic drive through the park’s hilly terrain, exiting toward your drop-off point with memories of the great African wilderness.
